Paul Mustacchio a part of Worcester's Best Chef Competition

Cheng Du Restaurant's Executive Chef Paul Mustacchio competed in the sixth annual Worcester’s Best Chef Competition on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at Mechanics Hall in Worcester. This was the first time Chef Mustacchio and Cheng Du were a part of the competition, which hosted 20 chefs this year, all of whom competed for the title of Worcester's Best Chef.

While Cheng Du did not win this year, they had an opportunity to share their food with many guests and generate a lot of buzz. Owner Kuo-Rung Tang was delighted to have so many people experience Akamon's Kushiyaki Grill, a Japanese style of grilling tidbits of meat or fish on a skewer over a smokeless Higo Grill that reaches temperatures of 800 degrees!
